Birth care involves: Birth care begins when you feel you need me to be with you, not when you have achieved any given contraction pattern, every mom will know when she is “in labor”. I am as involved as each mother desires, respecting each woman’s unique emotional and physical needs.
Care of the mother includes loving, noninvasive monitoring of blood pressure, pulse, temperature, cervical dilation, hydration, nutrition, positional changes, and emotional support.
Care of the baby includes gentle, noninvasive monitoring of fetal heart tones, position, labor tolerance, and birth progress.

Water Birth: We love water births and have a lovely tub in the birth house for your use. Should you choose to birth at home, we also have a mobile tub that we can set up in your home.
Birth Assistant/ Apprentices: In order to maintain the highest quality of care and continue in the tradition of hands on midwifery training I feel it is necessary to have either and assistant or apprentice present at each birth.
